Curious about the host of this website? Then you’re in the right place!

I’m Azurite, though I go by the-sweet on DeviantArt, where I first discovered the awesome webcomic “Along the Way,” drawn by CleopatraWolf, and based off the fanfiction of the same name by Flashchimp.

I’ve been interested in the Seto Kaiba x Anzu Mazaki (Téa Gardner) pairing (also known as “Azureshipping”) since about 2003, when the Yu-Gi-Oh! series (specifically, the NAS-produced one that was originally titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters in Japan) was just getting underway in the United States. I started watching the series, buying the manga, and eventually writing my own fanfiction.

That led to the creation of several websites, including WikiFic, a Yu-Gi-Oh-themed encyclopedia for fanfiction readers and writers, as well as Blue Eyes and Apricots, the web’s first fanlisting for the Azureshipping pairing. Later, I opened up Dragonfayth, a fanfiction archive devoted solely to quality Azureshipping fanfiction. These and other websites are all part of my Seventh-Star Network, a collection of websites related to various fandoms I’m interested in or involved with.

Yu-Gi-Oh! is probably the fandom I’ve been interested in the longest, after Sailor Moon, and I’ve written extensively for it, and have lots of other fanfiction, fanart and other projects planned for it. I wanted to get involved, even slightly, with promoting the wonderful story and webcomic Flashchimp and CleopatraWolf have come up with, especially since Azureshipping webcomics are so few and far between.

While DeviantArt is a good place to put art in a portfolio style, it was never really meant for webcomics, and to that end, I decided to host the comic in a proper webcomic style–using WordPress and ComicPress!

I’ve been using WordPress for a while–for school projects, as a contributing editor for other sites, and eventually, some of my own fandom-related projects. However, this is the first time I’ve used ComicPress or attempted to host a webcomic, so please send any tips or tricks my way!
